January 23, 2012 04:33 AM PST

The LORD called the young Samuel but he could not answer the LORD because he did not know the LORD. The text states that he did not know the LORD because the word of the LORD had not yet been revealed to him. Would you think that knowing the LORD is important? Jesus prayed in the Garden to know the LORD is eternal life, but how are people to know the LORD? It’s clear that people can be close. Look at Samuel, he was ministering in the Tabernacle, surrounded day and night by the beautiful religious things of the Tabernacle, but did not know the LORD. So what makes the difference in knowing the LORD and not? Find out today in this episode. The Nature of Spiritual Darkness: Isiah 60:1-6
